“Could you hold on a minute before you continue?”

That’s literally the most I can say in the content warning about what ultimately caused me to add this content warning without spoiling the twist behind it for those of you who are reading the social media blurb. So please don’t blame me because it’s vague: I just don’t want to cause people to get spoiled because I wrote more details about the murders in the content warning (which would be shown in social media blurbs) than was required for the social media blurb.
Anyway, now that that’s out of the way, oh my goodness that episode was so good! The fact that Nelluru’s “stillborns” from back when she was alive the first time were actually murdered to prevent them from being sold off despite the fact that Nelluru was born and survived in the camp before is just…augh, I love that storytelling!
Kind of dislike that Clevatess decided to take Alicia’s cool red sword from her, but she still manages to keep a sword of some kind, so that’s cool too, I guess. Would’ve preferred the red sword, but you can’t always get what you want.
But the fact that there are more dark beasts (or things that work with dark beasts) that can speak human language and can take on human bodies?! Aah! Also, there’s war going on elsewhere, but that’s not all that important at the moment, though the protag group is likely to get pulled into it later.
If there’s one thing that I do dislike, though, it’s that it seems like we have yet to exit the camp that caused me to add that content warning that lasted for three episodes. But it feels like we should be leaving it next episode, if what I saw in the preview was anything to go off of.
If not, I’m gonna be angy. We’ve already spent what I feel to be too much time here. I want to see the gang adventuring, dang it! That’s what I came here for! Honestly hope we don’t stay cooped up here for too much longer. I don’t know what I’d do if we did.
Definitely seems like we’re building up to something big. The only question is “what are we building up to”? That’s likely going to be something that’s revealed over the course of the episodes that are still remaining for this series, and is something I’m excited to see!
Can’t think of much more to write, so how about I just do this…
