After I spent last week complaining about recap episodes, I was excited to see this episode. After all, if this series, which had been consistently releasing regular episodes weekly up until that recap episode, needed to take a week with a recap episode, then this was something that was going to benefit this episode, right?

I believe that their judgment with taking last week as a recap episode was a good call. After all, with what had happened in previous episodes, having this episode directly afterward may have been too much for some people, so by taking an episode to recap what’s happened may have been the best option for them overall.

Do I think they should’ve taken a full on skip week instead of making a recap episode? Yes. But am I going to just accept the fact that they did a recap episode so that they could still deliver something in that time slot? Also yes. And will I refuse to touch that recap episode with a 29 and a half foot pole? You guessed it, the answer is yes.

Anyway, enough of me complaining about this show doing a recap episode, and let me say the words that you guys probably expected I’d say in this post.

I want to hug Monica.

Look at her! She seems like she needs a hug!

And I think this episode was expertly done. Including some of what Monica went through in the past, and then following it up with events that cause her to have to see someone from her past again…aah! :<

In case it isn’t obvious enough already, I love this series. Monica’s just like me for real, I swear.

She deserves all the love in the world, and if you disagree, then I believe that you’re wrong. She’s trying her best, and she deserves all the love and support she can get.

Why can’t she be real? Giving my support to her would be so much easier if she were real.

But, yeah, I’m so emotional about this episode. Please let there be more happy moments for Monica in future episodes.

So, while I’m here, let’s see what the next episode’s literal translation is!

Oh boy, there’s a lot of different directions that I can imagine the episode going in with this literal translation. I’m genuinely hoping that the next episode will have this be framed in a positive light instead of doing so negatively.

Please, it’d heal my soul. I don’t want the next episode to be a sad episode.
