I’m going to take the translated title as a victory despite the fact that the translation I got from the next episode title reveal thing was off by one letter, as Google Translate doesn’t know the context of the series, so it couldn’t know that the title was supposed to be related to only one character instead of being connected to multiple.

Hey, I gotta take my victories where I can. Besides, it’s just one letter. It doesn’t change the title that much.

Okay, if you thought that this would somehow become the shortest Sara Talks Anime post yet, then you’ve clearly misunderstood me. I’ve still got a lot to talk about in regards to this episode, so we’re not out of the woods quite yet.

Bernie is a character that confuses me! I understand that he’s likely a more complex character, but…huh? Why did he take these actions? Will there be explanations in future episodes to explain why Bernie decided to take these actions? Or will his motives forever allude elude me?

Yes, that’s the one time I make a mistake where instead of outright replacing it, I’ll show you what mistake I made. Just to show that not even I’m immune to confusing words. In my defense, they sound similar!

But still, the drama and action in this episode had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I’d even go as far as to say that this was *clears throat*

Yes, that was genuinely something that needed to be on its own line. Yes, the formatting and emojis were necessary. Yes, I know exactly what I’m doing.

Even if the main meat of this series is more slice of life in nature, there’s always episodes like this that remind you that there’s more at stake than just “socially anxious character tries to make friends while doing undercover mission” and reminds us that the mission exists.

And yet, like many times before, this is one of those situations where I have so much that I want to say, so much that I just want to nerd out about in regards to the episode. Yet when I go to write, the words escape me. You may notice that for my posts (with the exception of one series at the time of writing), that’s really what a lot of these posts are: wanting to say a lot, yet not having the words to say everything.

Maybe it’s because I feel awkward potentially going into spoiler territory. Maybe it’s because I’m just tired. Who knows at this point.

Anyway, woo, go Monica! Seeing her play chess in this episode, even if just for a short time, was fun!

Now, let’s pivot to our favorite feature: what does the title of the next episode of Secrets of the Silent Witch literally translate to?

“Monica Goes Delinquent”…Monica, no. Monica, no. Monica. No.

Getting down on my knees and hoping and praying that through some twist of fate that this is either a mistranslation or the title means something different than what I think it means. Just, please, Monica no.
