Haha…that title is the exact opposite of me. Since I tend to overthink social situations and all. Okay, that’s getting a bit too personal. Let’s get into the review.
This episode begins where the previous episode left off, with Glorio noticing that his plane has been stolen. Due to this, the crew has to travel more on foot than would’ve been preferred, meaning the trip will take longer. Honestly, I was expecting Glorio to go out and search for the person who took his plane. Maybe that will end up happening later? We see a plane in the opening with people in the Demon Realm who haven’t arrived yet, so Glorio gets a new plane or the original one back. I don’t know which at this point, but it feels like a plane should come into play again eventually.
Of course, during their travels, they get to an area where they need to cross a chasm, so they have to fly! It’s not recommended to fly extremely long distances in the Third Demon Realm due to the heaviness of the air, hence why they’re traveling on foot unless it’s required to fly to travel. And while flying…

…yeah, that fugly thing appears, and Goku manages to get away in time despite still getting used to the new air. After getting on the other side, they continue walking until they come across a house in the shape of a teapot, which is where they end up taking a break…with Goku being hungry, as per usual. Classic Goku.
After some banter, Glorio looks at getting a new plane. After a (what I found somewhat annoying) conversation with the husband of the person who served them, he offers a Sky Seed for what I can only assume is a ludicrous price. Glorio does manage to get it lower, however, and after a lot of setup, the Sky Seed flies! After managing to avoid falling into the black depths, they get going again, coming to the next town and witnessing a corrupt government.
Ah, yes. Goku fighting authority. Gives me vibes of the classic Dragon Ball series. Very fun. And just to be absolutely clear, I’m being genuine.
Before proceeding, I think I need to state that somewhere in the episode (I forgot when), Glorio told Goku and Shin about the Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm. Yeah.
Anyway, the authority is enforcing higher prices for the sacrifices (or whatever they’re called), and when some members of the community either can’t pay at all or can only pay part of it, they get years of their life taken off. Yikes.
Of course, it appears that Goku isn’t the only person who wants to fight the authorities, because a small masked figure throws a bomb…which doesn’t work as intended, so they have to fight. After noticing them get into a pickle, however, Goku jumps to the rescue…causing Glorio, Goku, and Shin to leave the area. But after they do so, we run into the figure again and they remove their mask. We get a view of their face…and the episode ends.
This was another great episode, and it’s definitely helping to set up the story of the series more while developing the characters and world. I’ve also been enjoying the comedic moments, and it appears that the story will be going in an interesting direction overall. Glorio, plz don’t turn out to be a bad guy, I still don’t fully trust you yet, but I know I’m supposed to trust you due to the role you appear to be playing. Really excited to meet Pansy next episode! (She’s the figure I was talking about, just kept it under wraps to match with what the characters know.)
