Sara Talks Anime

Happy new year! It’s so hard to believe that we’re in 2026 now. Like, can you believe that at this time last year, this site didn’t even exist? Yeah, at this time last year, I was still making posts on my mom’s site. The only reason I have posts from this time least year on this site is because of a handy little thing called backdating. Wow! :]

Overall, I didn’t end up finishing as much of my list of stuff as I would’ve wanted. But, like…there was just a lot going on in the world at the time, and as a result, I ultimately did some smaller stuff that wasn’t as time intensive, though doing any of stuff on my Fall 2025 plan had basically been forgotten. I did some little things that I thought would be more fun.

But, here we go, time to do what I did last anime season! :]

NOTE: While I follow Detective Conan as a simulcast, coverage on Sara Talks Anime at the moment is based on where I currently am in my rewatch of the older stuff (as well as my first viewing of some of it), and will take a while to catch up to where the simulcast is, assuming it ever does catch up to where the simulcast is.

• Images for most of the warning boxes will be updated so that I’m no longer reusing old assets from the YouTube channel for them. The only one that will remain the same is the one for when I believe that a portrayal of a serious subject is actually more harmful than helpful, as I genuinely believe nothing except for that can match my feelings.
  • 1/5 images added or updated.
• I also want to go through my pages for my simulcast writeups and replace the synopses that I took from Crunchyroll with my own written synopses for the various shows.
• I think that I could also benefit from having links on each post that links back to the more main pages for where they’re linked.

Notice how I changed the little definition things? That’s because even I’m not sure how long all of these will take! So you may just see some popping up constantly season after season. Sorry, but I’m just doing these when I see time in my schedule to fit those in.

Overall, I’m really excited to begin my Winter 2026 coverage over here! And I hope you’re excited to see it as well! Especially since I’ve got more than one show to regularly post about now!
